Get thee to a schoolery

Murf, not much of huge interest from me at the moment, so...schoolwork dump! Very small one. Also, my eyeballs hurt. D: I suspect it is because I have been staring at screens so much.

Digital Sets is taking up a motherloving crapload of time, what with having to do an exterior AND an interior. Jeebles. A bunch of my time for Body Paint has been spent painting all the props and stuff, too. I'm modeling even more stuff from Calnavory, just because I like having a library of cool stuff ready to 3D-ize.

The original exterior shot; the hares' village:

My progress on the 3D model:

Tree and other stuff need to be ZBrush'd, but otherwise at least the modeling aspect is done.

A sketch I did for the interior of one house:

My progress on the 3D model:

There's still stuff to do: a few color textures got borked, I need to go alter specular/bump maps/reflectivity on just about everything, There's a few more model things that need adding/altering and a bunch of stuff needs to be smoothed. And then of course there's all the lighting and environment fog and compositing left to do and sfjdlkjaldka why am I reminding myself of this. AT LEAST COLORS ARE DONE GEEZ.

I've actually gotten farther on Aragorn since this, what with fixing the face and adding eyes and a beard and all. Likenesses are tough, blar.

Still working on Brawl!Phoenix. I may have to finish him outside of class, because I have no clue how far I'll get by the end of term. At least I got those friggin' walk and run cycles now! I'm attempting to do the standard A moves now. My timing sucks, gaah. D:

I've worked on the wolf spider, but nothing really more to show on it because I've hit a roadblock with adding the fur. X( I've got color, length, baldness, etc. maps for the fur, but for some reason Maya totally conks out on me when I attempt to actually ADD it. Whenever I try a test render, Maya crashes. I even tried adding a fur look with Paint Effects, which is supposed to be REALLY cost-effective, but that crashes the program, too. D: The model itself is only a little over 100,000 polys, which isn't terrible. Can't figure out what's wrong with it!

YES. That's what I've been spending all my hours on. @_@ And now I'm gonna go read more V for Vendetta.

Drawing: Still not nearly enough. LG when I can.

Writing: RP.
