Last week was a bit of a "screw it" week for me. I worked out Monday but didn't exercise the rest of the week. I didn't work out Wednesday night because I had to do a turn around shift for work, and needed my rest. Then Friday I didn't work out because I had forgotten my work out clothes at home. I said screw it to Saturday because it was a small BBQ that night and the rest goes on.
The week also meant not watching my diet to closely. I ate a lot more than I normally would. Thursday night I went to an AYCE at Gyu-Kaku, ate a bag of tootsie rolls on Friday night, and had 1-2lbs of steak on Saturday. So yah... gained a few pounds back on me.
It was about a 4 to 4 1/2lb difference. I weighed around 189.1 on Sunday morning. I had weighed myself on Tuesday that previous week and was 184.7lbs.
So I splurged a week and will be getting back on track again. I don't regret any of it because I exercise regularly and I "diet" like no big deal.
In addition to my normal exercise, I've considered adding an extra bit onto it to see how it works. I ran across a pull-up program (50 pull ups) and would be interested in seeing how that incorporates into my regular work out. I'll begin working with it today and the rest of September to see how it goes.
