(no subject)
okay. i haven't written in a while, life's been too crazy working 40+ hour weeks and still trying to have a social life. not been easy since many days i'm working both my internship and my paid job back to back.
this morning we found a mouse in the trash can here at chop suey. i played the girl and made derek take it outside. that is the most exciting news of the day.
don and i are still as together as kinda together can be. nothing official still but it might as well be, my streak of going out with other people seems to have ended for the time being. i'm tickled that the girls at work think he's cute.
i've been cracking out on guitar hero. i bought the encore 80s version, which is entertaining. song selection isn't as expansive as the other guitar hero versions, but oh well. i'm psyched for guitar hero 3, it's first on my christmas list.
i still need to get cable tv. i'm going crazy without it. i crave the ability to channel surf.
i found my digital camera but haven't had much time to go picture-taking. every day i see things i want to take a picture of, like a squid spray-painted onto the sidewalk, giant pink elephants, or other strange things. i will one of these days.
i also bought a nintendo DS. a shiny red one. if anyone else has one and plays animal crossing: wild world, be my friend.
i have friends here now but i miss all my ones from home. i fit in neatly with all of Jess' friends, plus I've acquired a gang of my own between Facebook and work. If only I had more time to hang out with them.
