Mark's company hosted a private event at Six Flags over Texas on Saturday, so the two of us planned to take Elias. My mom watched Noah, who we felt would not really get a whole lot out of the experience and would make it much harder for us to get around ( Read more... )

The boys and I spent about two hours in the playroom tonight. It was refreshing to see Elias actually play with his vast amount of toys instead of running all over the house or watching TV. Noah was happy as a clam to go from one end of the playroom to the other as long as Elias was in sight.

When Elias was around 19 months old, we bought him a Fisher Price Potty Step Stool. The first two times we sat him on it, he went potty both ways! We thought we were genius parents and congratulated ourselves and Elias. He was very happy that we were so delighted with him and seemed proud of himself. It was a wonderful moment.
