So. Cast your minds back to Christmas Day. This is a reconstuction of events upon that day.

Video: ummm ... feeling a bit queasy ...
Lycoris: *tapes Wallace and Gromit.
Video: Look, I'm really trying here ...

Video: OH FOR GOD'S SAKE! *packs it in, records static snow*
Yeah. Found that out today after taping several more things on it. Was extremely ticked off but thank God it taped the Doctor Who! I suspect this is why Satan was in the sausage dish: he was leaving a goodbye card of AMUSEMENT having destroyed the house! Oven, tree lights AND Video. God.
Anyway, this led to me attempting to turf Dad out of that room so I could watch the Top Gear special. Dad refused to be turfed and insisted that he would just tune it out. I seriously doubted this as Dad never tunes things out and bitches whenever he thinks something is crap and he hates Jeremy Clarkson so I prepared for a bit of grumping. But Dad is startlingly quiet. Even appearing amused by Jeremy Clarkson's misery. (always the best bit of Top Gear) But then I realise that Top Gear lasts from 8:00 till 9:15. So I turn off the telly to go and watch Affinity a 9:00, thinking I'll watch the last 15mins on Iplayer later.
Dad: Why have you turned it off?
Me: I'm ... going to the other room to watch Affinity now ...
Dad: But I'm not!
Me: ... you want to watch it?
Dad: Might as well find out how it ends.
Me: *nods, heads out of room, sporfles madly in a corner*
Anyway, watched Affinity and it was absolutely brilliant, a gorgeous adaptation but terribly sad.
