But but but ... but I like the Dawn Treader! And Ben Barnes is hot! AND THAT MEANS NO EUSTACE! WHAT THE FUCKING FUCKITY FUCK DISNEY? FAIL! MADE OF FAIL! FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIL. *sulks*
So, yesterday our oven didn't work and then the Christmas tree lights stopped working too. Obviously, we don't have the Christmas touch! It was a tiring day, relatives and Mum's cousin came over. Mum's cousin is lovely but drives you A Bit Mad because when you try to play games with her, she ARGUES with the rules. It's not our fault! Those are the RULES. *gnashes teeth* They're all mad you know.
However, playing the games managed to lead to one of the funniest moments over Christmas. We played the game la_localfreak gave me, called Last Word. You get categories and then a letter and have to name things beginning with that letter than fit until the buzzer goes.
Category: Things mainly used by men.
Letter: P.
Sister and I struggled not to fall about, Dad stared off into middle distance, Mum and elderly relatives looked bewildered and couldn't think of anything to say. Poor things. :)
There was also a rather hilarious moment for me when I went to do the washing up. I picked up the sausage tray. And beneath is what I saw.
Even my Dad, who looked at me like I was mad when I first brought this up was forced to admit that there was totally a face in that (sort of at the top). And as far as I'm concerned, it's TOTALLY Satan. I'm not sure this bodes well for the family ... ;)
Upon watching the first four minutes on my new Morse DVDs, I promptly said "I've been there." in a smug tone. Thank you versipellis! Can I come and visit again so I can see more Morse places? ;) (also, these are proper and GOOD DVDs that have changed the credits back to the old ones instead of ITVs stupid replacements which were meant to go faster. Good DVDS. I approve.)
