Well, I saw two new Netflix movies, but one I hated and don’t want to waste my efforts on and one I was NOT in the mood for. So we move on.

I went for a bone density scan to see if my bones are going break like a porcelain tea cup any time soon. It only took 15 minutes or so but I have wait a week to know the result.

So Maeve Binchy and Gore Vidal have passed. Once, I was working a very boring job and found a Binchy book that somebody had left . I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. (Ha, ha, because I'm a snob). I read several others and like them, though I can't remember anything about them ( Read more... )

Netflix movies. ( Married Life, The Sensation of Sight )

I caught a bit of the 1997 version of Jane Eyre with Samantha Morton and Ciaran Hinds. Disappointingly it did not include the most radical Jane, the one who says she'll go with the missionary to minister to the heathen but she won't marry him. And scandalized the poor man. She is suitable as a helpmeet but not as a partner. That part was dropped ( Read more... )
