Spring!

I am really enjoying the spring weather and all the plants. Making bitty-bits of progress on the back yard, balancing out the area by the door with complementary plantings. I finally have my varigated privet, a plant I've been coveting for months. There is not too much time left for planting before the heat really sets in, but I will go to the spring plant sale at the Wildflower Center. They have so many neat native plants available. I also want more information so I can plan for seeding wildflowers in the fall.

Tim and I are planning a series of projects through the summer--fence, flagstone addition to the patio, etc. This will give us a nice canvas for the fall, when we can start planting again. I'm looking forward to working on these projects together.

And all the yard work is great exercise--more motivation to run!
