All the pretty plants
We've been spending lots of time in the yard and have lots of plans for making significant progress over the summer. We have fencing to put up between us and the house next door, and soon we'll get the back fence scheduled for installation.
For all the Texas gardeners, I recommend two plants to your attention:
I also planted two Bush Germanders in the front yard and tidied up the beds in front of the porch. Much work yet to be done, but it's nice to see definite progress. If only I could figure out what to do with the 9 dwarf Yaupon Holly shrubs. They just don't seem to fit our style. I like loosey-goosey plants and they simply scream "English box garden."

- Bicolor Sage, a well-adapted Mexico native
- Lyre-leaf Sage, a shade-loving Texas native (shade, hear that people???)
