Solid perfumes and perfume pendants

Jan 11, 2010 17:52

I have several snowcake solid perfumes (as well as one each of all the other solids), and I have recently come up with a great way to keep the scent around.

I buy perfume pendants (which seem to have been sold by Avon a lot) that contain solid perfume -- usually old and yucky, but that's okay, because the pendant is what I want -- and empty the old perfume out. After a thorough cleaning, I scoop out the solid LUSH perfumes from the tins, insert into the pendant, and it's ready to go! I've noticed that the scent of most of the LUSH perfumes is strong enough that having the pendant on my neck is enough to have the scent of the perfume waft up all day.

If you're like me and the solids lose their scent on you fairly quickly, this might be a good way to go.
