So we had a choir concert last week. It went well and we got some good feedback. I've played at, I dunno... maybe hundreds of concerts possibly, but I've never before taken part in helping to organize it. Man that it has snowed a lot. Today when I walked (more like waded) through the forest there was snow up to my knees. It hasn't quite reached what it was last Winter (last Winter was crazy), but I don't remember the last time that we had so much snow at the start of December. I lost my father in 2002 when I was only 19 years old and I still mourn him. My paternal grandfather died a year after that and my maternal grandfather in 2005. One of our cats died in 2007 and another one in 2008. My maternal grandmother died in 2009. My paternal grandmother died in 2011. My maternal grandmother died last Saturday (August 1). It wasn't unexpected as she's been in really bad shape since last March. When I first heard from mom that grandma had died I was sad, but also relieved that she didn't have to suffer any longer.
