I dig composers
I love this song. I love Yoko Kanno's mucis. I've come to realize that my focus has shifted from bands to composers when I'm digging some music. I don't really care what band is playing what, and even less I care who are playing in the band. But the person behind their music, that matters. And there are some truly wonderful composers out there, or maybe I should refer to them as songwriters as I'm not talking about classical music. It feels like I can feel the person who has created the music, through their music. There's nothing rational about it, but I feel like I can understand them when I'm listening to their music. The people who create with their soul, I can feel it. Music conveys feelings and good music conveys them clearly.
I haven't done much of anything today. I worked on my bike a bit and I'll probably continue with it tomorrow. But I've been in a good mood today, for the first time in over a week. It's strange how I always feel better after writing stuff down. It feels good to feel good. Anyway, I should head to bed now. I stayed up until 5AM last night. ^^;
