Jamie and Val had just finished their tour of the city when they were confronted by Madison; the three women all arriving back to the hotel at the same time. The angry brunette narrowed her eyes at the pair, but before the situation could get ugly, Val intervened.
“Hey Madi,” Val greeted cheerfully, mouthing an apology to Jamie, “what’s up?”
“Do you see this?” Madison pointed to the angry scratch marks on her cheek, “this is unacceptable.”
Val knew better than to ask, putting an arm around Madison’s shoulders, “we’ll order room service,” the redhead attempted to soothe. “And lots of it, okay?”
That seemed to placate the brunette for now, the two heading back to their hotel room. Jamie, on the other hand, had received a text message from her sister, though the way it was worded; she doubted that it was actually from Amy and more likely from Patrick. Still, the blonde woman decided to meet up with Evan, Amy, Alex and Josh; finding the group in the French Quarter just as Alex had indicated.
Jamie looked between her sister, Josh and Alex, a confused look on her features, “did something happen?”
Amy shook her head, “not really…”
Alex took a sudden interest in his shoes while Josh shrugged, the blonde male responding, “nothing of importance.”
“Uh huh,” Jamie replied in disbelief, waving to Evan as an afterthought. “So, what’s up?”
“We’re heading on the ghost and voodoo tour and thought that you might want to come with?” Amy spoke, grinning a little, “It could be fun, J.”
Jamie didn’t take too long to think about it, accepting a flashlight from Evan as they headed towards the starting point of the tour. And while Amy was speaking with Evan and Alex about various zombie conspiracy theories, Jamie hung back, not quite walking with Josh but not entirely ignoring him, either.
