Summary: Follows the post-college life of a group of friends over the course of a year in a Santa Monica apartment complex.

Amy put her hands on her hips, looking beneath her bed for one of the items that she had purchased at Victoria’s Secret. The redhead knew that she had put everything away after she had gotten back, but now, clearly she was missing at least one item.
She and Christy had paid for their items separately, so she knew that her sister couldn’t have taken it.
Naturally, that left one possible suspect, Amy not entirely surprised at that fact.
Of course, she realized that she could just call and ask, but that wouldn’t guarantee that she would have the missing items returned. Frowning, she made her decision, exiting her bedroom and then grabbing her keys from the counter.
Naturally, it took her a little longer than usual given her air cast, but with the assistance from the elevator, Amy had soon arrived to her destination.
A.J opened the door, an eyebrow arching at the redhead, “Ames? What brings you here?”
Amy smiled slightly, stepping inside as A.J stepped back. “I need to reclaim a stolen item…. Or three.”
He rubbed the back of his neck, “stolen stuff?”
“Yes,” she replied, “is Alex here?”
“He’s taking a shower,” A.J thumbed back towards the hallway, “you can wait for him if you want, his room is the last one.”
Amy nodded, half walking and half hobbling towards Alex’s bedroom, the redhead nearly running into the brunette as he was exiting the bathroom; a towel wrapped loosely around his waist.
“Wasn’t expecting to see you so soon.”
“Yeah well, I’m just here to retrieve a few stolen items of mine,” she arched an eyebrow, hands on her hips, hazel eyes calmly assessing his face. “Where are they?”
Alex feigned innocence, mimicking her stance and causing the towel to dip lower. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. And I really don’t think you should go around accusing innocent people like me.”
Amy scoffed, “innocent my ass,” and then she gestured towards his bedroom, “So you wouldn’t mind if I looked, just to be on the safe side?”
Alex reached for the doorknob, “Be my guest,” he invited; flicking the lights on after the door was opened.
Amy wrinkled her nose a little, “have you even bothered to clean your room since you moved in?” And then she held up her hands, “never mind, I don’t want to know.” She eyed the bedframe, “what’s up with your mattress?”
“Waterbed frame without the waterbed,” he explained simply, opening a dresser drawer and removing clean boxers and socks. “I’ll just get dressed while you’re looking for whatever it is you think that I’ve stolen.” A beat passed, “unless of course you want to save us both time and get as undressed as me.”
Amy rolled her eyes, merely pointing down to her air cast and then searching through every crevice, drawer and possible spot in the room. Initially she came up with nothing, the redhead frowning before she reached beneath the mattress. A triumphant smirk later and she was holding out her missing undergarments and one piece of red and black lingerie, the exact items that she had bought earlier and still with the tags attached.
