EMOTIONAL HEARTLESS SOCIAL LINK
Demyx is someone Minato met through necessity; the other had been hurt in a fiasco, and he was able to offer some assistance. But he has enjoyed their conversations since. Demyx is an interesting person, full of vigor and opportunity, but also strangely open and naive. It isn't too surprising that he's a Fool, Minato supposes, and the fact that he is apparently heartless has only cemented it for him.
But that all doesn't really matter. Demyx is a friend, someone he can trust and depend on, and he appreciates the offer to listen whenever he needs it more than he can say.

N
POKEDERP PROTEGE SOCIAL LINK
N has gone from unknown to protege to family to protector all in a few short months, but it's felt to Minato as though they've known each other for quite awhile longer. N isn't perfect, no, but he is part of Minato's makeshift family here in Vatheon, and Minato cares quite a lot about him. And more than that, he appreciates N's care for him as well.
So for so long as they are together, Minato will do his best to help N through any difficulties he might face, mental and physical.
And N, it seems, will do the same in return, protecting Minato from harm and offering him rest and dinner when life seems overwhelming. They're on the same level now, really...and Minato is very grateful for that.

Renton Thurston
GOOD-HEARTED TERRORIST FUGITIVE SOCIAL LINK
Renton's optimism and good-hearted idealism is something refreshing in Vatheon. It's nice to know someone who believes in the goodness of humanity like he does, and they get along easily and naturally. But even more than that, Renton is someone who has proven his reliability time and time again. And Minato will never really be able to repay him for his fixing of Aigis, but he is beyond grateful, and if ever Renton needs anything, all he ever has to do is ask. Minato would be happy to do anything he can for his friend.

Sissel
AMNESIAC GHOST SOCIAL LINK
Sissel is an oddity, that's for sure. He spoke to Minato because Minato is dead--and the teenager doesn't really know how he feels about so many strangers knowing this little fact about him--but either way, he seems harmless. And his lack of being able to read is what pushed Minato to offer to teach him whenever they both have the time to sit down and just practice.
It's slow going, but at least it's something he can do to help.

Souji Seta
INVESTIGATION TEAM MOM SOCIAL LINK
While they've only spoken a few times, Souji's calm demeanor and careful care of the people in Vatheon makes him easily likable and strangely easy to relate to--
He doesn't know much about the other yet, but he is sure they'll be able to talk at their own pace, and get to know each other in time. He doesn't believe there's much of a rush.

Mion Sonozaki
CRAZY GAMER GIRL SOCIAL LINK
Mion is really something else. Her energy and enthusiasm are likely to drag Minato into more than just the game club she's starting up, but he doesn't really mind. And if he can protect her, like with the dinosaurs, he will happily do so as well.
He is getting the sense, however, that something is not quite right about her, and the flashes of paranoia he has seen worry him. He hopes that she'll open up to him eventually; until then, all he can do is be her friend, join her club and listen--all things he's happy to do.

Amane is someone that, while Minato doesn't know her well, has proven herself to be a kind-hearted, if oddly mysterious acquaintance. Still, her concern for someone she barely knew was a reassuring thing to see, and overall Minato has a very positive opinion of her. He would like to get to know her better, it's true--but at her own pace, since it seems she has more than enough problems of her own to face.

FELLOW COOK TECH GEEK AND SEES SUPPORT SOCIAL LINK
Fuuka really is the heart of SEES sometimes. She supports them in everything, from battle to living in the dorm, and for Minato, being able to support her in return is always worthwhile. It's a comfort to have her in Vatheon again--it feels more like home that way, and he calm and cheerful presence is truly uplifting.
He treasures his time with her all the more for how unassuming and quiet she is, and has quietly vowed to always spend time with her whenever he can--because allowing her to be ignored is never going to happen.

While they don't know each other well yet, Saya's cheerful nature and energy is a pleasant thing to encounter on any day. She seems to know a good portion of Vatheon--someday he'll have to ask her about the people he himself doesn't know. He's interested in her opinion, that's for sure.

Kanji is quickly becoming a friend. He's a good guy, despite his sometimes awkward attempts to seem scarier than he is, and his care for others is pretty clear. Kanji honestly is a strong person, being able to own up to who he is to the point of offering sewing lessons, and Minato would like to get to know him better.
The fact that he also has a Persona is...interesting too. They haven't gotten a chance to discuss their Personas since that first meeting, but he's interested to see just how things are the same...or different.

HOST CLUB MOMMY SOCIAL LINK
Kyouya runs the Host Club, which Minato was dragged into by Ryoji. Still, he doesn't mind being a part of it at all, and Kyouya's calm sense in running it is welcome.
He'd like to get to know him better, but it's clear that the Host Club's shadow king is rather closed off to people he doesn't know well, and understandably so.

The Date Masamune.
As bizarre as it is to meet a historical figure like him, overall Minato quite likes the samurai. He's sensible and calm, but in the battle between him and Motochika, it was clear that he was skilled and passionate about what he did.
Minato will be looking for more opportunities to speak with him; the few that they've had have been enlightening thus far.
Though he still feels guilty for mentioning his children.

LINEFACE BOY(?) GIRL(?) SOCIAL LINK
He doesn't know her well, yet (and he's only vaguely sure that she's a girl from how she reacted to the stuffed bunny) (she is definitely a girl), but so far Minato's opinion on her is favorable. Haruhi seemed exasperated by the Host Club's antics, but she also was fond of them, despite all of the inanity. He can only imagine what sort of nonsense she'd been through back home.
Still, even if she'd been forced to join, he's glad that she has seemed to have found her place.

CHEERFULLY STRONG GIRL SOCIAL LINK
Selphie has been a good friend to Minato; she was someone he was determined to protect, and she decided that she would protect him in turn. So they made their promises.
And then Selphie died. Minato failed to protect her, and he broke his promise too--he wanted to do whatever he could to mend that and make it better. But just when they had, Selphie revealed that she was in love with him.
Things are slightly awkward, to be sure, at the moment, but Minato still considers her one of his better friends, and he still wants to do anything he can to protect her and take care of her.

Yukari Takeba
CANON LOVE INTEREST SOCIAL LINK???
It was a bit of a rocky start. Yukari came from a time after his choice and his sacrifice, and because of this, she was understandably...shocked...when she saw him and when he greeted her. They slowly passed over that bump in the road, however, returning back to the comfortable relationship they had back home.
Minato appreciates Yukari's company; she's grown a lot and was still one of the very first friends he had when he moved. Speaking with her is laid back and something he doesn't have to worry too much about, and while she clearly trusts him, he also trusts her.
She's part of his team, his nakama. Her well-being is of the utmost importance, both physical and mental. And while he knows that Vatheon is a dangerous place at times...he is happy to have been given the chance to see her again.

Izaya Orihara
BIZARRE INFORMANT SOCIAL LINK
GOD WHAT A WEIRDO Orihara-san was an interesting guy from the moment they met--Minato tried to help him out and he creeped on his personal space and ruined his clothes. That was a bit of a bummer.
But to Minato, it was done less with ill intent and more out of a childish interest, and it was solely because of that that he was unfazed. (Also his A+ poker face). And so he bore with it and eventually the conversation grew much more cordial.
Minato is interested in Izaya, and if the man ever has any questions, he'll happily give the information freely--even if that might not be true in reverse.
...Of course, then the man drugged him, tied him to a chair and nearly killing him by dropping him over the edge of a building. It was terrifying, it's true, and Minato...is at an odd crossroads when it comes to Izaya.
He doesn't hate him. And really...he just wants to understand him--understand why he would do something like that, and understand why he acts as strangely as he does. He thinks, perhaps, that he slowly is beginning to understand.
After all. Izaya didn't kill him. And that shred of humanity Minato saw is all that he needs to have faith in him.

Onion-san Onion Knight
PRACTICING KNIGHT SOCIAL LINK
They don't know each other very well at all--in fact, they've only met up once to practice, and then spoke once more to work together in the Defense Force--
But there's something about having a practice fight with someone when you're doing your very best that makes you feel much closer to them.
Overall, there's an odd sort of camaraderie established with Onion Knight, and Minato is looking forward to their next chat, and perhaps their next spar.

Strength;
Motochika Chosokabe
MANRY PIRATE ANIKI SOCIAL LINK
It isn't easy to describe all that Motochika is to Minato in just a few words. To put it bluntly, Motochika is the one who will (at times drag him by his collar, if he must) make sure he gets enough rest. Who keeps an eye on him and his health and the health of his team. The one who teaches him and defends him and reminds him of things he might have forgotten that are important--
He's his big brother, his Aniki, and there are no doubts that Minato sees him not as Motochika Chosokabe, the historical figure, but as Aniki, the one he can depend on no matter what happens.
A big part of Minato's goals in Vatheon are, quite simply, to make Aniki proud, to do his best to accomplish his goals and promises and to grow as he said he would. But at the same time, he wants to learn more about this remarkable man that is, to him, all that a leader should be, a role model that he depends on more than anyone else.
And the first person who has purposefully given him a home.

For Minato, it was a little difficult to accept that Japan was, well...Japan. But what use was there in denying it?
As far as he's concerned, Japan is a kind mind, looking after all of his people as if they were his children--as he'd want his country to be, really.
And the compliments Japan has paid Minato...they've truly taken him off guard. There's no saying how much he appreciates his kind words...and Minato would like to take them to heart, while helping his country as he can.

Out of everyone Minato has gotten to know in Vatheon, Tsukasa is the one person he worries about most. He's a soft-hearted person, kind and quiet, and clearly has not had many good experiences with friends. And thus Minato was determined to give him one, and promised to protect him at the same time.
He failed to do so, but Tsukasa went ahead and told him that it wasn't his fault, and that he hadn't used up his "chance" yet--and so Minato will continue to check in on the boy and do his best to be the best friend he possibly can. Tsukasa deserves that much.

Wheel of Fortune;
Ryoji Mochizuki
THANATOS PUPPY SOCIAL LINK
Ryoji is, when all is said and done, Minato's other half. He came of Pharos, and is a reflection of he himself, but at the same time...he isn't.
Ryoji is his own person, and getting to know Ryoji has been an exercise in reminding him of that. He doesn't need Minato to live--and Minato wants to show him this, because he knows his other half is strong enough to stand alone.
That said, Ryoji is without a doubt one of the people he is closest to. He arrived at Vatheon with him, and being without him is an alien concept by this point. They do most things together, and Minato doesn't mind being dragged into Ryoji's hairbrained schemes. And well...he always knows when something is off, and will always be there to help Ryoji fix it whenever he's feeling down. And he knows very well that the reverse is true.
After all, they're mirrors.

Vriska Serket
LOST TROLL/RYOJI'S MOIRAIL SOCIAL LINK
Vriska is a very special case. She became very important to Ryoji long before Minato ever broke through to her, and so of course she was important to him as well because of that. But he has been building a friendship with her as well, because Minato honestly does care about Vriska for her.
To him she's a little lost, a little confused and a little too used to depending solely on herself. He knows that she has Ryoji now to depend on...but he will forever be there to offer his own help as well.
Someday, perhaps, she'll accept it.
