Anatomy 101
It's late, but I just had to share this priceless conversation I had with Jr while putting him to bed.
Me: Good night sweetie. Love you.
Jr: Mommy?
Me: Yes?
Jr: Do you have a penis?
Me: *sputters* Um. No.
Jr: Why?
Me: Because I'm a woman. Woman don't have penises.
Jr: And daddy?
Me: Daddy's a man. I'm a woman. And you're a little man who's going to grow up to be a big man like daddy.
Jr: Like daddy? Ok.
And off he went to sleep. He's only 2 and a half, and already obsessing about his penis. Amazing.
