I am finally catching up, albeit somewhat slowly, with livejournal. I've been pretty much absent from here for over a month. The holidays and first couple of weeks back in Wales have been weird, fun, insightful and already the year feels somewhat action-driven. Alot of old habits are being brought to consciousness in some way or another, old ( Read more... )

I'm amazed at how many people have had these feelings (myself included).

I'm very much of the mind that this is the year of change. For those who are driven and improvement minded, who are willing to take on the work needed to accomplish their goals and stay focused, and really willing to push through all that will be necessary, this is the year.

I also have the feeling that this is the year everyone who isn't there, at least in my realm of being, to be left behind. We go it as a group and a community or we don't go.

I hope your year is a success. And fingers crossed for all of us willing to go for it.

Aye, reading your journal enforced the general "feeling" of active change in the air - either in the near future, awaiting acceptance or in progress. It could be a very interesting year for many people I know, including myself I feel.

I am indeed going to have to"go for it" this year. It is simulatnareously scary and exciting, but it feels right.

I hope the same for you, best of luck!

I will come see you as soon as humanly possible. Will also probably send Christmas present this weekend, sorry for delay. The book is amazing! I miss you loads, sweetpea, and I'm glad to hear you're doing well.

Oh, and speaking of change? I've retired as Milliways mod, and I'm gonna be adopting Aziraphael out soon.

I think it was a good decision. FINALLY. XD

Alternatively, I could come and see you if it isn't too pricey via train - maybe next month sometime (need to await next paypacket ideally)? Up to thee.

Glad you like the book, was a bit of a random choice (well I had never read it/come across it before).

Stuff is taking shape...though it is quite scary. I've been accepted into uni for Sept but I have no money to fund it as yet. Though it feels sort of meant-to-be at this early stage. Also am applying to something that would supply me with a bursary, good opportunity but hard work for 9 months and only 12 placements.

I miss you loads too. I shall be having Liz & Myf over tomorrow night for dinner with us.

You're welcome here whenever. We have a spare double room in the house (my study). It is a nice, big flat.

Anyways, catch up with you soon. No rush with the present, surprises make me happy any time! Thank you! Better off posting to my work address though, which I gave you...?

*hugs & love*

Things go well. Changes I put into place in December are gaining strength in January. I'm volunteering a bit more (teaching yoga and becoming a mentor for a child in the community), trying to write a novel (for some reason)(fun but slow), and I've gotten back to taking care of myself in terms of how I eat and my activity level (always a bit more tricky in the darkness of an Alaskan winter). We have about two and a half or three feet of snow on the ground. It's rather pretty, but I really wish I could have thunderstorms like you've had. There's rarely thunder here, and I miss it. We did have an earthquake this week, though - that's sort of exciting.

Hope that everything is energized for you and begins to move in 2007. I want good things to happen to the good people I know.

And in the short term, enjoy that trip with M!

Namaste.

Good to hear from thee. I am glad to hear things are moving along nicely for you. I read about your novel - sounds exciting and courageous - a fine plan! Best of luck with that (I shall volunteer as possible proof reader ( ... )

Oooh! A proof reader. Sadly, I fear that it will be such drivel that I will never let it see the light of day beyond my writer's club here in town. However, overall, I think that regardless of that it will be a fantastic exercise for me.

Best of luck with your yoga. Were you one of the people who got a meditation CD from me? Probably not, I tended to avoid sending them to people in the UK because I figured my accent would be too jarring to allow people to relax. (And I STILL owe you CDs! I am so ashamed!)

Sounds like there are exciting decisions to be made on the education front, and that 2007 will be a year of much action for you. I wish you the best of luck on whichever path you choose.

I am pleased you are keen to give it a try, I think the most important barrier to come across with one's own creative work is that of having fun with it. I am starting to get that was with some drawing I've recently taken up again. A good feeling ( ... )
