(no subject)

I am finally catching up, albeit somewhat slowly, with livejournal. I've been pretty much absent from here for over a month. The holidays and first couple of weeks back in Wales have been weird, fun, insightful and already the year feels somewhat action-driven. Alot of old habits are being brought to consciousness in some way or another, old friends appearing, awkward subjects being brought out into the open, clarity and gradual healing. So far, so good. I am not going to get my hopes up too much, but 2007 feels like the year things will happen for me. Simply because they have to, for my sanity if nothing else (somehow my head feels a little less cluttered with anxiety, and my house is also starting to coincide with that finally)! I have been pleasantly surprised by a few recent occurrences. Much work to do of course, but I feel more capable of achieving my goals now. Like the squirrel - I am going to deal with things individually - like gathering little acorns and storing them one by one...(yup, I stole that metaphor). New Year has never felt quite so New Year-ish to me...if that makes sense.

January has been blown in by gale force winds and storms, with only one or two days of clear skies and wintery temperatures in about a month. It is rather worrying, the first December where we have had thunder storms - in my memory anyway. Perhaps clearing all the built-up frustrations and chaos from the air....one can hope. But clearer skies are in the forecast for Sunday - I've been indoors too much of late, so on Sunday M & I plan a long awaited trip to the mountains to one of our favourite waterfall spots. I am rather excited. Glee and fresh air.

Otherwise - there are plans of fun things ahead and resolutions abound. Plans in the making. Good films/books/food/arty things in formation. I may bore you with the details later...

Best Wishes to you All for 2007. I hope your dreams come true - I know many of you have worked hard for such and continue to do so, and some of you are that little bit closer to making it.  Synchronicity makes me smile.

Please comment and update me on how you are doing and anything else random, fun or interesting - words or images suit fine! I have missed you and I'm behind with things.
