About 3 minutes after I posted my last entry, my power supply went up in smoke. Like, seriously, there were maybe some sparks, and then definitely smoke, coming from the bit near where it plugs into the computer, right where the cord thickens. (I have a G4 PowerBook.) Insert various jokes about the power of my writing here.
I've been having some problems with this power supply for a while now, so this isn't an enormous suprise, but I wasn't expecting such a dramatic death. Fortunately, there are other power supplies for my laptop model in the house. Unfortunately, my computer isn't under warranty anymore, so I'll be paying for a new power supply.
