The deal was signed and delivered today. Technically it's the parental units, but I'm going to be living there and the utilities are in my name. I walked in there today for the first time. It's kind of a odd house because you can tell that it was a very nice house for the time it was built. But it is a bit dated. So I guess I'll have to find a way to modernize it without much money.
I have tons of carpet to pull out also. The house was a rental for a lot of years and most of those people had dogs. The carpet was not in terrible shape, but since it's a neutral beige color, it makes the whole place look pretty "blah".
It's not going to stop me from furniture shopping though!
