Charlie had a habit of tripping.
When the monster was chasing him. When he was running from the boars in the fuselage. Whenever he was running from Liam. He was always scraping his hands or knees.
“Careful, baby brother, you’ll land on your head one day.”
“And you’ll kiss it, Liam?”
“If you want. I’ll kiss you wherever you want, Charlie.”
“And if I fall on my arse? You’ll kiss it then?” he asked, a grin spreading across his face.
“You little smart-ass,” Liam pushed him, and Charlie pushed back, laughing. And when Charlie ran from him, he tripped again.
