I woke up this morning only to get a call from my landlord downstairs telling me that water somewhere was leaking down into their apartment. After digging around under the sinks I quickly realized it was coming from the bathroom. We've cleaned up under the sink, thrown out the ruined things and shut off the water in there. Vancouver is having a heat wave (well not "officially" yet) but to give you an idea we woke up to a 32 degree apartment this morning... when we went to bed it was 34 degrees inside our place.

Our house looks over a fairly major street. Well actually, it's pretty busy during peak hours of the day but otherwise it's low-key. So during peak hours there are a number of cars lining up at the stop-light. My work space overlooks the road so I usually drift off and watch people in their cars.
