Space-time "Ripple Waves" & Ancient Predictions

This is interesting...

I just found a science article that talks about something I referred to in an earlier post 3 years ago! I used metaphor and very little scientific jargon because I just don't know enough advanced science to figure out how to express myself articulately regarding this subject.

Okay-- my LJ post here: avalonautumn.dreamwidth.org/Read more... )

Why do they need to wait? GREAT question! All I can think of-- since they have the means to do it when they want-- is maybe they want to avoid a fight? Maybe they want us to be desperate for help? Maybe there are rules they have to follow and they're not allowed to interfere yet-- like the Prime Directive in Star Trek?

But about the "erase everyone's memory" thing! Whoa!

Okay- its a delicate thing, fucking with people's memories-- and it has to be done one a time, close up, and carefully. Now, pushing a short segment of time back (or suppressing it) is one thing. Trying to replace a memory with another is WAY harder. All they seem able to do is place like a mental mask of an animal or person over themselves so you don't see what they really are (owl, deer, cat, mom). That is very easy. Trying to create an entire narrative about a person's life from scratch to include a few things...? They're not that skilled. There is definitely a limitation to their mental powers.

Plus-- again and again, I've seen stupidity mixed in with their smarts. They can think fast, and calculate quickly-- but they miss certain things that to us are easy and intuitive. The Grey's brains are just too different. I don't think they're superior at all. Just messed up in different ways from us. As for the human-looking guys.... their agenda doesn't seem to be about using us. I don't THINK. I don't know enough about them to guess at too much yet.

Fair enough but it sounds like if they wanted to lower our population to replace with their own they could still find a way to engineer a disaster on this planet on their own without having to wait around for a big enough space-time ripple to show up on the laser mirror thingy.

My prediction for December 21 is that nothing is really going to change, not on a immediate, perceivable level anyway.

I sincerely doubt anything will happen on Dec. 21st-- or 23rd for that matter. I mean how many times has the "End of the World" been predicted? Only happened a few times (and it was only the world as it was known, not the actual world.)

It must be against the rules to engineer a population reducing disaster (a disease would be pretty quick and clean.) Or-- they figure why waste resources?

The problem with figuring out alien motives is that I'm human, and I can guess a little- but...
