Best news of the day. Hannibal
renewed!
I'm very glad the preview prepared us for the grabbing of the feet from under the bed because that is one of those things that always freaks me out.
Oh Will. He is so broken. And whether it fits my theory or not, Hannibal has certainly had a large part in this latest degradation by virtue of drawing him into the Abigail secret. I still think it fits my theory. Hannibal is still grooming Will. Breaking and rebuilding. And continuing to study. The encephalitis development is interesting. Oh Hannibal and your brain kink. Wonder how long before Will figures that out.
I quite adore Jack asking Will, "Have I broken you?" That was a little bit lovely. I miss seeing that concern from Jack. On the other hand, there's the bit about him rather Will go a little mad than lose more lives. And Hannibal's bit about Will being an innocent. Back to him as their pawn! The battle for who gets Will's brain!
I really think they know what they're doing with the twisted romance of Will and Hannibal. Especially as they've propped Will up on that ladder as Hannibal slowly approaches him, well within the bounds of personal space. And now he's sitting at Hannibal's desk. In his chair. So much space invading.
Frickin Will. The way he's clinging to Hannibal's time technique as a talisman to ground his sanity. Oh broken boy. This character. He's quickly jumped very high on my list of favorites characters. All that damage and yet he's come to trust Hannibal and rely on him in a lot of ways.
Oh Hannibal. The way he talks about Will's beautiful imagination, about setting his mind on fire, but still confirming that he is his friend and that he will put it out when necessary. Which I still believe he believes. So messed up! And yeah, he pretty much was going to kill his doctor friend. Only one person gets to study his favorite brain.
I'm growing increasingly fond of Beverly's relationship with Will.
