and back from another cosplay event.  Didn't win again - another Naruto character won  (Deidara) - might have to do me a naruto related outfit for the next one - might have a chance of winning!  considers Sakura (i love pink hair!)

yes the cosplay outfit is complete.  I finished the jacket off today,  put the zip on it.  Completed the belt, with velcro on it to fasten it.   Found my lace up boots.  They will go well with my outfit ( Read more... )

Got up early went to market got more stuff for outfit: black binding tape, black velcro, black zip, white elastic, an ideal pattern for the jacket - might actually have a chance of making the jacket look like a jacket now ( Read more... )

well i've been back on the sewing machine tonight, having fun with black binding tape. The dress is looking more like it now, and I've done more with the jacket too - although I'm still not happy with the front of it  (still love the cutsey sleeves)
