I've been sewing....
... yeah, I have - I've been making my Orihime outfit.
Found the sewing machine (it helps) but had to ring round everyone to find out how to refill the spool/reel/whatever its called.
well the outfit isn't finished yet.
but its well on its way.
I'm not happy with the jacket - especially the front of it - might cut up a white tshirt, then add the material to the back that I have pre-cut. The black lining I have will be fine. - still got a few weeks to go before the event. So I can sort it then. But I love the sleeves, I have the black binding tape on the cuffs already - the sleeves look so cute!!
I've got the dress cut outs done, just need to black bind them. And sort the neck out on the dress too.
Think I'll goto the market tomorrow and buy some more black binding tape - just to be on the safe side. Better to have too much than not enough - it'd be just my luck to have the outfit almost finished and run out of tape just when I needed 2 more inches! lolz
I'll colour my hair next weekend. that way if it screws up and ends up a strange colour, I've time enough to rinse it out thoroughly before the event. and plus if I colour it too close to the event , I'll get hair dye on my outfit.
I'm getting so excited for it. Tbh I'm not bothered if I win the competition, sure it'd be nice, but just to get dressed up and have people admire the outfit is so much more fulfilling - and plus ppl asking for photos too - thats way fun as well
And this time, I need more photos taken of me at the event. (hands Craig the camera)
