Just read in a friend's LJ -- that Farrah Fawcett also passed away. Have to admit, neither of them touched me deeply but I'm sadder about her than about Michael Jackson.

Sasha Snoo, the albino ferret, went to the Rainbow Bridge today, aided by his vet, the kind and gentle Dr. Pam. He joins Buster Brown and Pherret Phawcett, and leaves Wunjo Man...and me. I'm so sad. Redwolf and I returned from a day of running errands and hanging out with friends, to find a message on the answering machine from Hueia, asking if we'd heard about Hienrih. Worried, we called her and she tearfully informed us that he passed away of heart failure last Tuesday ( Read more... )

It occurs to me that I haven't mentioned the loss of one of my ferrets, Buster Brown The Little Clown, in June. A middle-aged sable ferret, he had adrenal disease and was doing OK, but typically lost ground whenever I went away. This last time I was in L.A., he lost more and apparently he just...wound down like a clock. Hubby and Scorp don't pay ( Read more... )
