Here's an Update
I wanted to update everyone over the events of the past week and a half. I talk to my Marine yesterday who is deployed and he is sleeping a lot better. Thank you to those of you who were concerned. This is a huge relief to me because now he is getting the amount of sleep he needs in order to do his job. Things here at home have been stressful while he has been gone. I ended up having surgery to have my tonsils removed this past thursday. That was not a fun proceedure and I was not a fan of waking up afterwards and not being able to see his face or hear his voice. These first few days have been pretty much hell because of the pain that I have been in and also due to the fact that I know he is worrying about me and he can't do anything to help me. I keep telling myself that every day that goes by is one day closer to when he comes home. And by the way, its roughly 216 days and counting. : )
On a lighter note, the Claddagh ring that he had bought for me finally came in last week, just a couple days before surgery. I have been wearing it ever since I got it and I absolutely love it! I also managed to get his package sent and to my surprise they said it would be delivered to him in about 2 weeks. I figured that it would take at least 3 weeks to get to where he is.
