Good news from my end! Everything is falling into place to make this relationship a short one FINALLY. After four long years of being in a long distance one, we're only about a month out from having our lives come together :) My Garry moved into his apartment yesterday and soon it will be our home! Now I just have to finish up my transfer to the University of Phoenix online and withdraw from my old school. I then have to make sure all my meds are transferred over there and buy a plane ticket!! I have my eye on one for August 31st that would get into CA at 10am :)
I do admit that with my excitement comes fear. I think this applies to everyone whose making the transition from long distance to short distance. I'm scared of a lot of things but I have to keep reminding myself...if we're able to hold out and make it through 4 years apart, going 12+ months separated we can make it through anything. And we have amazing communication skills because of this relationship so when problems do come our way, we know how to handle them :)
But I'm still scared as I am excited! We'll have gone 13 months apart this time around but it's nice to know the waiting will very soon be over
