The night was quite and cool as the sat outside in the back. No one there to bother them though they could hear the racket inside the house.
Aizen was finally defeated along with some of the espada, but a few survived. Who were now celebrating with them.
She leaned on his shoulder, the bottle of champagne his father brought sat between them, squished.
No glasses needed.
“It’s a nice night.” she whispered sleepily as he took another drink from the bottle then finding it empty.
“Hey...what happened to all of it?!”
“All of what Ichigo?” she said irritated as she sat up and looked at him as he pointed to the bottle, “you mean the cider?”
“What! Cider, I…I thought..” His eyes widen with realization, “Renji you bastard!” as Rukia took the bottle from him tearing the label that said ‘champagne’ to reveal a ‘cider’ label.
She laughed, “You didn’t notice the different taste?”
“Shut up, Rukia!” his face red as she continued to laugh.
