Hikaru no Go
I finally finished Hikaru no Go. It wasn't my first time reading it since I read it back when it started in Shonen Jump. I really liked how the plot flowed and the artwork was realistic. It became one of favorite series that I like to re-read sometimes. But whenever I got to the final arc, I would stop reading it. I read a spoiler before and didn't want to continue reading. I couldn't bare to read Hikaru's loss in the Hokuto Cup. Now that I read it, I realized that it wasn't such a big deal. I just wish Hikaru had won. Even if I didn't like the ending much, I still love this series. The story plot flowed nicely and the character growth was great. I enjoyed all the characters, even the minor ones. Waya and Akari will always be my favorites. I love Waya's facial experssions while Akari's determination to play Go is light-hearted. It's sad that this series isn't as popular as other Shonen Jump series but I will always love it.
