Bones and Castle Season Finale *spoilers*
I finished both season finales of Bones and Castle.
I saw Castle season 2 finale a few days back and wasn't impress with the episode much. The case was lame but I did enjoy the light flirting Castle and Beckett had in the beginning of the episode. Castle asked Beckett if she would like to spend the weekend with him at his beach house. Nothing romantic, just a short get-a-way from work. Beckett thinks about the offer and about her relationship with Castle as she finds out that Castle may not be around her anymore. Beckett breaks up with that Demming guy and realizes she likes Castle, but becomes heart-broken when she finds out Castle and his ex-wife are suddenly going to spend the summer together. Now that scene I liked. It was sad and very cliche but the acting was well done. But like other fans have said, it was lazy writing. (It sorta reminded me of the Ross and Rachel thing as well.) It's not implied that Castle and his ex-wife may sleep together since she is his publisher and wants him to finish his book, but you know how people think in situations like that. I can only hope season 3 doesn't start off with them together. I don't want to watch a depress Beckett watching them kiss and flirt.
Today I watched Bones season 5 finale. Booth and Brennan are presented with opportunities that could separate them. Booth is asked to go back to the military and help train new soldiers. Brennan wants to go to Indonesia to discover human remains that could change history. They both try to decide what they want to do. Daisy, who is my favorite intern, is also going to Indonesia which puts a damper on her relationship with Sweets. Meanwhile, Hodgins has his own problem when his scary father-in-law asks him to do a favor; to steal back his car that was taken by bikers. Hodgins and Sweets team up to face them but it turns out it was just a test from the father-in-law. In the end, Both and Brennan decide to do their own thing and promise to meet each other in one year.
Overall, I liked this episode. I was disappointed about the Sweets/Daisy relationship ending. They were my favorite couple next to Booth/Brennan. I really wanted them to get married and be happy. I hope she comes back in the next season. The Hodgins and Sweets action was hilarious. It was the funniest part of the episode xD It's great that Hodgins and Angela will be going to Paris. At least they get a happy ending. The B/B part at the end was heart-breaking. I wanted them to kiss so much but they didn't. Instead they make the promise to meet again while holding hands. It was so sweet and sad. T^T I'm really looking forward to season 6 now. I want more B/B development.
What's annoying is that both new seasons come out in September. >____<
