Okay, so far Nano is going really well. I'm not bragging, I am just pushing myself this year. I hope to be finished on or before Thanksgiving. Therefore each day I have sat down and written 3,334/4,000 words. I am excited to report that day one went fantastic. I actually stayed up until midnight in hopes of starting, but I found myself too tired. Today was nixed, because my Mom needed help. By the time I got home and started it was eight pm this evening and by 11 pm I had 3341 words. 1,667 is one days worth, 3,334 is two days worth. It just poured out, ( Read more... )

As Ali-chan suggested, I went and found pictures of my characters,  the school building, and windows, all just for description purposes, as a visual reference. I'm ready, plot in mind, stout of heart, with courage fed from insanity. Thirty days, 1,667 words per day, and at the end, I'll have created something beautifully unique. I've been looking back lately for some reason at some of my stories. Suffice it to say I found I really enjoyed rereading two. "She'll never know how much I love her" and "The Curse of the Frog"   They are both Haruka and Michiru centric, and I like the way they read. I am risen from the ashes of Nano as a Winner. 50,138 words November 30th at 8:40 pm It took me to hell and back. I just wrote seventeen-thousand words in two days.
