I have an interesting problem. I began an original story a while back. Just recently my interest in the piece was renewed. I felt like I could not move on until said story was finished. Well life comes at you fast, as some car insurance advertises. (State Farm, Allstate,I can't recall.) Since my last update, I did the hardest thing yet, and filed. Friday was our first court date. I mailed my contract off today. My first publishing credit and I get paid. It is only $5.42 which works out to a penny a word, for 329 words or so. That is not so much as important as is the publishing credit.  :D

Life must go on. I hurt, am bruised and battered but I continue going each day. So for an update. I went to our local community college and took the placement test today. My math scores sucked, but here is what made me happier. On the writing part I scored a 90, and on the reading part I scored a 98. :) I won't bore you with the math score, let's ( Read more... )

Today, according to all the calendars, is Martin Luther King Jr's birthday. Which means all the kids are home torturing me and that does not make a great holiday. I'll tell you what, kids and writing don't mix. Thank god for my iPod. :)
