Remember that White kitty I mentioned that had walked into my place a few weeks back when I was petting it outside my door? I'm actually kind of concerned about it. A week later he/she tried to bust in when I was coming home from work. I had to shoo the kitty away reminding it that the last time it stepped foot in my place it ended up hissing and bolting back out the door when it realized that there were other kittys still in residence. To Xander-kitty's credit he did not immediately hiss when seeing this cat, he just questioningly meowed at it while it hissed at him and ran back out.
Well on Christmas Day when I came home from my folks with arms loaded up with presents and leftovers this cat - who must have been hiding in ambush - bolted under my legs and ran into my place hiding under my futon. This cat came out of nowhere!!
So as I'm trying to get this cat out from under the futon while Xander is watching and luckily this time invasion cat is not hissing I'm particularly annoyed that someone has a cat that they let out of the house and don't bother to put a collar on! He/She's got a flea collar but would identification kill someone? Is this cat a stray that someone was kind enough to put a flea collar on or someone's cat that has decided it wants to live with me. He/she seemed friendly enough when I was petting it but I'd rather not have an outdoor cat that's going to attack my indoor kittys.
I did finally get that cat to run out the door - after I had shoved my own kittys in the bedroom. The next day I saw Xander-kitty pawing at the window while the White kitty was just sitting outside.
I'm uncertain what to do. I mean there are a lot of outdoor cats at my complex. So it's not a strange thing to see them wandering around out there. But I have never before had one try and take over my place. Reminds me of when Wes' kitty decided to adopt him by walking into his home.
I know Cordy would have just picked up the kitty and thrown him into her house adding to her brood. But i'm reluctant to steal someone's cat. Especially since it doesn't look unhealthy!
