White Kitty

Remember that White kitty I mentioned that had walked into my place a few weeks back when I was petting it outside my door? I'm actually kind of concerned about it. A week later he/she tried to bust in when I was coming home from work. I had to shoo the kitty away reminding it that the last time it stepped foot in my place it ended up hissing and ( Read more... )

Why not make a flyer and post/distribute to the neighbors? Someone may think he is lost. If no one responds after two weeks and he is still around...I say ADOPT! :)

Attach a note to his flea collar for his owners.
Our cat mooched off our neighbors for two years before they realized he was well cared for at home. He was just a nosey neighbor. Kind of like Mrs. Kravitz.

What a two timing kitty!!! Getting fed twice as much! :)

How did you or they come to realize your kitty was philandering about?

Hmm, assuming it doesn't take an issue with that and comes around again I'll try that.

He got snagged when my neighbor saw him sleeping in our front window and stopped to ask if we had 'adopted him'.
Yeah, I adopted him the day his mother gave birth to him on my bed 4 years ago.

Little mooch.

how come when a kitten sneaks in your house and hides under your couch you think it`s adorable and want to adopt him but when i do it you think it`s creepy and want to call the police?

Heh - actually it was a lot like you! It firmly decided this place was it's home, it had an altercation with Xander, ignored Loki, and I had to use a stick to poke it out from under the couch!

Maybe I should call it "Bobby" :)

I like both ideas. Especially the note on the collar thing! On the back of the collar! Maybe it is an outdoor-only cat (if it is, the owner should be kicked HARD) and the owner does not know their cat is venturing into peoples' homes. Maybe it's a neighborhood cat that lots of people feed, but that has no permanent home.

And Bobby, it's not everyone that gets all upset when a grown cat comes into your house. However, I will vouch for the problems introducing an adult male cat into a house with another adult male cat can create. It can be Very Bad. My parents' house smells like cat urine because of it. My mom has stopped taking in adult male cats too, because of all the problems it created for them.

If he's neutered take him, if not put him back out. You don't want to deal with that crap. The cats will learn to get along.
