OK, so I have got the job thing sorted.  I went into work today and said I couldn't get there by 12 tomorrow for my rostered shift.  Didn't mention why, of course.  Anyway they said the easiest thing for all concerned was for me to just come in an hour later.  So I'm working 1pm-9pm instead of 12-8 ( Read more... )

Well, it seems I got the job I went for today, despite the debacle of finding the job interview place.  It would have been nice if I'd been told that despite the Lord street address, the place isn't actually visible from the road and the carpark must be entered from Newcastle street.  I drove figure eights around Perth for about 40 minutes looking ( Read more... )
