BASICS:
Name:María
Age:22
General Location:Madrid, Spain
Three positive adjectives describing you:self-assured, optimistic, ambitious(yes, I do think this is a positive adjectiveXD)
Three negative adjectives describing you:arrogant, lazy, a bit selfish
Do you have a preference on race or gender? (one or the other):Not really

THIS OR THAT: (there's room for both in some cases)

Love or War:Love. I think War is the virus of mankind; note the "man" in mankind. Love defines us and ends up being our whole reason for living (be it romantic, familial or platonic)

Strength or Mercy:Strength. I don't scorn at mercy, but where mercy's required, strength is required to survive, and I appreciate my survival more than others'

Determined or Accepting:Both, really. I'm a very determined person, but I'm very open and accpeting of pretty much anyone and everything

Making your own Destiny or Accepting Fate:This question drives me crazy. It's the one thing that makes two of my defining characteristic clash, my independant and self-assured side and my romantic side. I lean more toward the "making my own destiny" in real life, though I don't fight against fate that much

Life or Death: Ô.o Life, obviously. My first wish to a genie would be to grant me "eternal life", cause I'm never going to have enough time to see and experience and read and watch everything I want

Brave or Safe:Brave! I scorn at societies obssessed with safety, like the north americans. Courage can get you things without resorting to an undignified close-minded conservative coward

GENERAL LOTR QUESTIONS:
Which is your favorite movie:The first one for sure. I'd read the books, and I didn't care much for them, though the universe intrigued me, and when I saw the Fellowship, it impressed me so much that I went to the cinema 13 times to watch it again. I think these movies have made history in Film, but the first one is that much more magical, and melancholic, and impressive in surroundings, happenings, settings and all that

Book?:The third, if I have to choose one, because it made me cry, it had the Faramir of the books (whom I like much more than the movie!Faramir) and was generally more political than the others; also, Sam kicked ass and Frodo shut up moreXD

Favorite character and why:Mmmm...that would be Gandalf. Seriously, the man is TEH AWESOME. He's the only one that knows what's going on, has friends in high placesXD, has great power, greater wisdom and greatest compassion out of everyone surrounding him. He's cool and old at the same time, which is quite a feat. He manipulates people in an awesome way for the greater good, knows how to laugh at himself and has quite possibly the best magical fight ever written, against a skyscraper mountain of fire with horns and whip (no, it's not a S&M movie, no matter how it soundsXD)
Sam is awesome too, with the second best fight in the series (Shelob had no chanceXD)
Eowyn is kind of cool as well, but Luthien was way better, so...

Who do you relate to the most?:Probably Pippin or Merry, in that I live in a very safe and calm environment, in which I'm a member of the privileged class, but I long for adventure, excitement and making deeds of my own, and defining me outside of that world

What got you into the fandom?:It's the first fantasy series I ever read, and Tolkien was a fantastic creator of worlds, very thorough, and his fictional universes are complete in a way that very few have ever been. The movies just kept the best and left out the worst of the books, and made the epic journey even better and more heroic.

If you could live anywhere in Middle-earth, where would it be?:Rivendell for sure. A place of arts and poetry, very beautiful, with easy access to other worlds (elven, human, dwarfish and hobbit), with eternally youthful and handsome people who dress in comfortable and gorgeous gowns and hold the best, most sophisticated and delightful parties ever. Rivendell is not closed to the more interesting travelers, and I could learn some fighting skills while not being seriously hurt, because they control themselves better than other species. It's an interesting place for anyone interested in High Arts and History, too

What would you do with the One Ring?:If I didn't know anything about it, I would probably succumb to his calling, because I'm ambitious and think highly of myself and my skills (not in the least humble, like the hobbitsXD). But if I knew the story about Sauron and knew the degradation the Ring produces in both mind and body to those unable to bear it, I would try to fight it, and probably succeed, since I'm so stubbornXD

If you could have a Ring with any power, what would it be?:The power to read minds. Sounds awesome, specially to a curious mind like mine; of course I would be able to use it when I wanted, and not go mad from prolonged and unwanted use. Also, the power to fly, man's eternal dream

How'd you find us?Searching for stamping comms ^^

Post a picture of yourself (in costume is great!), if you have one and are comfortable doing this. If not, just describe yourself:
I have no pictures, so I'll have to tell: I'm very tall (1'80 m), very slim (56 kgs), with long legs, medium breasts and very small hands and feet. I have mid-back long brown straight hair with japanese fringe, small brown eyes and high cheekbones. My skintone is golden brown
I usually dress in a gothic-punk-lolita style
