GENERAL LOTR QUESTIONS:
Which is your favorite movie: I can never decide between TT and ROTK. The extended edition of ROTK is just hours of majesty but I love TT because it has Helm's Deep, my favourite battle. It really just depends on which one I happened to have watched last!
Book?: Among the trilogy itself, the Two Towers. Among all of Tolkien's work; The Silmarillion, particularly Akallabêth.
Favorite character and why: Aragorn. His unwavering sense of right and his determination is all the more powerful because he is so down-to-earth about it. He has quiet strength, fierce loyalty, and just a little bit of a darkness/broodiness about him. =] Closely following are Lúthien Tinúviel and Samwise Gamgee.
Who do you relate to the most?: Éowyn. I can empathise with her fear of entrapment/dependancy, and her longing for a role greater than the one she finds herself in.
What got you into the fandom?: My best friend, elisabeth91, 5 years ago.
If you could live anywhere in Middle-earth, where would it be?: Lothlórien, or Minas Tirith. Some ageless city with history and lore. The rural life is not for me.
What would you do with the One Ring?: I'd stow it away before it could tempt me, perhaps bury it. While it was somewhere relatively safe I'd have time to think about what I should do about it in the long-term.
If you could have a Ring with any power, what would it be?: Hmm... tough one. Makes one think =] A ring with the power of luck/conveniency. Something that, while wearing it, will help bring along useful opportunities, much-needed situations, etc. Think of it as something that triggers all the ingredients of success which are out of our hands, such as timing or coincidence.
