When I say "my family", what I really mean is my dad, my brother and my dad's side of the family. Very rarely do I refer to my mother's relatives as family, which isn't so much their fault as my mom's since I don't really see her as a family member anymore thus we don't keep in contact with her relatives. One of the things I realized when I was in California was how great my brother really is. I realized it again last night, when the stomach aches that has been plaguing me for five days became unbearable.
