Success!!!!
Finally been able to donate blood, so I'll be getting my donor card with my blood type in 4 to 6 weeks. Today was my third time at attempting to donate a little blood that was a success. The first time was 3-4 yrs ago, failed because I have hypo-tension or low blood pressure. Second time was just four days ago, and this time it was because of my iron count being too low for them to safely take my blood. So after my second attempt I consume large portions of beans and lentils, also too iron supplements, to prepare for today. BooYaa. Iron level was 12.7, and blood pressure was a little low but not low enough for donating. Now I'm tired and lethargic. Also my arm hurts from the needle being moved around to find the vein cause I moved my arm just a little from the position she place it in. But I think it also hurting from the tape she place on the needle sight. So I'm going to be chilling today and next day or so, to regain my blood and iron.
