So, eating right and health benefits that go with it

For the last month I started a calorie counting book and today started to become more active. I think my age/height/gender listing has me as over weight to high risk as being group into obese category. Which kind of scares me, because my younger sister is in middle school and I not too sure but I believe she's COUNTED as obese. And that's bad because she's only 13 years and taller then me. I need to buy a weight scale to see if I have lost any weight at all, when I started this I think I weighed 155 pounds, and for my BMI is 18.5 to 25; so when I calculated it, it came out to be 28.3. So I would feel better if was around BMI 19 or 20. Which leaves me losing at least 40-50 pounds.

July I just ate normally, but a little more concisely and with my sedate life style. But for this month I going to add in a slight work out schedule and be more on top of what I eat and how much I eat. This doesn't mean that I going to give up food that I normally do consume, just that I am going to have a smaller portion of it. Since I jogged/fast walked for 25 minutes today, that means I'll just walk for 30 minutes. So that I switch up my activity plan, I think I'll toss in push ups and curl ups; focusing on toning my stomach and arm muscles. So wishing myself luck that I lose at least a pound or two a week.

Also planning to change my dinner plans schedule, add in more fruits, vegetables, poultry, and legumes; and see if I can cut down my family eating pork, beef, and high process food.
