  So, finished moving into the new place. I want to say about a week ago, but less time has pass. Most of the major boxes have been unpack, but my family and I are still mostly living out of carrier bags and boxes.   Just had a minor earthquake about ten or so minutes ago; that lasted for 3 minutes, about. It freaked my two cats out a bit and made me think a truck or something plowed into house. But no crashing sound and only the swaying of my bed, and two wide eye cats. It was blast, been a while since New England had a shake this bad. WhooO!

  Another article was an September article that I read; I wanted to give a go to their recipes and repost their helpful guide of most used rice grains and what they're used for. (Also the article didn't name the recipes cooks or writer name, so I mean no infringement for not mentioning) Also I guess September was National Rice Month; whoops.

  So yesterday my family and I went apple picking like we do every year, and this year I was able to talk sense into my mother of just purchasing one bundle bag(thank god, we always end up tossing half the apples if we pick bags worth).   So, lets just state that I didn't get the job in Bristol; which really sucks, back to searching for a job. Tonight dinner I made a meal plan based off of pork, because I had a large package of 8 or so pork ribs. Slow roasted BBQ pulled pork, season pork rib and pork rice pilaf, with kernel corn, broccoli and cauliflower(steam/boiled). Came out ( Read more... )

  The location of my potential job is about two to three town away, but good news. Its in the prime spot of crystal meth, just last week there was a major sting op raid the police had success in stopping. And I just might get a job in a sketchy location, but hey, its work and I need the money to finish my schooling and pay for my cat's medication. ( Read more... )

  Finally got a call back from one of the job aplications I had filled out, and the job is a five minute walk from my house which is a plus right now. I'm debating calling the place today to see if I got it or waiting untill tomorrow to see.
