LOL I read Tim the part about you starting Arena, he was amused.
I think you need to play through with a totally new Hawke and just do whatever you feel NOW. I know when I started to play through again, I decided that my Hawke was not going to have anything to do with Anders' plan. I think I ended up with a self-hating Mage LOL. She's totally hitting on Fenris because DUH so tragic. And lame but whatever. I need to finish that playthrough someday.
When I first read this comment I was like, "She's totally right! I'll just start over with someone else!" But then I realized I was also working on achievements with this playthrough and I'm already like, halfway through and ughhh I don't wanna have to do it all over :\ But I did just start another one up anyway. And there's always my mage playthrough I could try and finish.
Hey, maybe that's something we could both blog about like you mentioned on Sunday??? DA2 REPLAY!! :) But Idk, either way we should definitely figure out something to do at the same time! Weeeee it'll be like the old days haha :)
I'd be down with that! We'd both need to start over from scratch probably. Though I am also working on achievements. But I don't have the achievement for starting a game as each kind of class (is there one for that????)

There's an achievement for getting to Kirkwall with each class! I got that early, I just made one of each and got em all there and pretty much forgot em. Hahahaa cheated just a lil bit.
I think it's really difficult to love a playthrough more than your first playthrough. Everything is fresh and new and least 'spoiled', I suppose. Your imagination is much more powerful than mine so you have a better shot of overcoming it, but I was spoiled off the bat about Anders so I was like 'lol, nope' (AND BESIDES, FENRISSSSSSSS <3 <3 <3)
It's really hard to not meta-game is all I'm saying.
I'm planning on playing Morrowind sometime this year but I'm in the middle of Planescape Torment and it is freaking amazing and taking up so much time.
I AM ALSO 3 N7 PROMOTIONS FROM GETTING BEST OF THE BEST LET ME KNOW YOUR SCHEDULE SO WE CAN ME3 GOLD SOMETIME THIS WEEK PLZ
It IS really hard to not meta-game, ESPECIALLY when it's something as huge as "Anders goes nutso and blows people up". It's got way more of an emotional component to it, too, instead of something like with Origins or even in Mass Effect where the ending is pretty standard and wrapped up. Not to say they're not emotional but... idk what I'm trying to get at lol. I guess you have some control over them because it's you doing everything, when with DA2 it's all out of your hands and it involves maybe a character you care about and a cause you care about and blah blah blah
