It IS really hard to not meta-game, ESPECIALLY when it's something as huge as "Anders goes nutso and blows people up". It's got way more of an emotional component to it, too, instead of something like with Origins or even in Mass Effect where the ending is pretty standard and wrapped up. Not to say they're not emotional but... idk what I'm trying to get at lol. I guess you have some control over them because it's you doing everything, when with DA2 it's all out of your hands and it involves maybe a character you care about and a cause you care about and blah blah blah.
You will be interested to know that I was originally planning on romancing Fenris! haha. When they released all those short stories about the LI's I was like OOOOH UNS UNS I LIKE THIS GUY HE SOUNDS BADASS. (And I was initially miffed they were reusing old characters, but now I'm like, what a dumb thing to be annoyed with, lol.) In fact, Anders was the one person I was like NOPE NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. (I was also mad that they took away Greg Ellis because once upon a time all I wanted was to get the chance to romance Greg Ellis' voice and it just kept slipping through my fingers.) And then Anders just snuck up on me like a DAMN APOSTATE NINJA. Sigh. The rest is history~
Oooh that game looks interesting! I'll have to add it to my list! And I see Baldur's Gate and NWN on the side there... I wanna get to them someday... have you played either of those? They're the only ones I need to complete my Bioware ~experience~
Omg I hope you get to Morrowind! I started last year (& I think Emily said she bought it but idk if she started playing.) It was tough at first but I really got into it after awhile!
OOOOH YAYYY!!! I WOULD LOVE TO GOLD WITH YOUUU. I'll let you know when I can get some time. I've got hardly any work, but one of my brother's friends is over and idk when she's going to leave. I have a feeling she got kicked out of her house again, which means she crashes at our place for as long as she effing feels like and no I'm not angry why do you ask.
