I agree too. At first, I just thought he had been set up by the Others. Like, they knew he was watching and they were acting like they were living like that, etc. But then later, after it became clear that he was "not of sound mind" I think that he was telling them all that so that they would go after them, believing they could take them.
he wasn't - there are pictures of that set all over the internet. i find it doubtful they'd construct a whole set with a dharma hatch and everything as an elaborate ruse.
it seems to me like mike was obviously persuaded to get henry out, however i don't believe he was brainwashed. Jack was right to think that Michael didn't just run out of the jungle. I think the others caught michael, and told him that they would give him back walt if he got henry back, which is total bullshit, i think they just want henry dead, and have no intention of freeing walt.
maybe they want to debrief henry and find out what he learned about their hatch and what the survivors are up to before they kill him. michael wouldn't know what had been going on the last couple of weeks, but henry would.
I also thought it was pretty clear that Michael was lying about the barefoot people eating dried fish and living in tents. I also thought it was pretty clear that he was trying to set a trap for them to all be massacred. Or infected
( ... )
I didn't think he was lying - I thought he believed it. I thought he saw exactly what they wanted him to see. And that he'll do anything to get Walt back, yes. For the rest - can't >i>wait to see the next ep!
Are you sure Michael has the sickness? I mean Michael has seemed crazy from the start? Building the raft? telling his son to stay away from Locke. Shouting out his son's name in the jungle....
I think he's rash and stupid and he's selling out everyone else because he's obsessed with having his son back after all these years.
What I want to know is why Michael was sitting in the locker with his arm in a sling. Does Libby regain enough consciousness to tell people that Michael shot her and not Henry Gale?
Exactly! Right after I saw that part of the preview I was all Michael that traitor! And then I thought about Michael having the sickness and I realized that he was in the locker room.
Okay well I think he's in the locker room because after these two get shot, Jack and all of them take the bodies to the hospital and now the Losties take over the hospital hatch.
I don't think there are 3 sets of groups on the island. They've made it pretty clear so far... in my opinion... that the whole dirty barefoot thing is a disguise that the others use (Kate found dirt make up and dirty clothing hung neatly in lockers when they found that other hatch type thing.)
Yeah, that's what I thought too. It seems clear to me that these barefoot, dirty people are the same as the Hanso people, as Kate saw the costumes in the lockers in the other hatch. I was surprised Kate didn't say anything about the costumes, actually, when Michael brought up the people.
Yeah. When Michael was describing what he saw, Kate had this look of "Hmmm, maybe not" on her face. She either knows it's a total act or has a feeling it is. She might be the one who is against trying to go take on the Others.
