New Characters GALORE theory.
This is my idea of what is going to happen for season three.
First of all there are three sets of people on the island.
1. The cast of characters we know and love so much from Oceanic
2. Zeke's tribe of Hanso people, or whatever.
3. The barefoot people with kids that carry dolls.
NOW.
Mike came back and told his little song and dance about people who eat dried fish. Those people are the the barefoot others. He was telling the truth, but I don't think Walt is with them, Walt is with Zeke.
Because Mike was obviously under some sort of mind control when he shot Anna and Libby and then himself I think his body was doing the evil bidding of Zeke's tribe. Further more Mike's going to talk everyone into going to that other hatch with the fish eaters because Zeke is trying to get the Oceaniac people to fight with the barefoot people so he doesn't have to. However, I think what will happen is that Jack will not go in guns a blazing and they are about to make a bunch of new friends. New characters!
Now back to the hatch, Locke has just received some very interesting information about himself. Finally he is seen as a worthy person and he is going to leave the Oceanic people and join up with Zeke's people. We are going to get a slew of new characters that way as well. Its going to be Locke v. Jack in the grandest of scale.
Lost is obviously a character driven show, so without new people the show loses its luster quickly. This idea of mine would be a logical step for the show and I think we are about to see one of the greatest television programs, get even better. The casting has been right on so far, so I see this new set of people I am speculating about to be even creepier and more complex. I think the greatest hint we have is this new Hanso website. It has pictures of people we are about to meet and get to know on a first name basis.
In a grander sense of the show I think what we have been watching for the past two years in the romanticism of one group. There is defiantly going to be something with good v. evil. The part I am struggling with is, who is actually BAD? Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Charlie, Claire... I could actually see them being dark bad people. However I am so unsure about. What I am mainly sure of is the Eco is about to become the leader of good and will play a main role, maybe ever a larger role than Jack (who is SUCH a bad leader). We may even find down the road that Zeke's group is good and the other group is bad. Who knows.
This is my theory, I encourage everyone to find holes and fill in for me. I was so excited after the show last night that I had to write this down not only for myself, but for "The Others" LOL.
