This is, categorically, as far as I will go. Given the story you've asked for, evidently much more 18th C type bawdyness was in evidence, involving the Doctor and Ace as much or as little as the reader likes to imagine:

One of the things I don't even dare mention, given its chances of getting written is a proper Seven and Ace historical. This may prove to be it. :lol:

Well, as wrong as I find Seven/Ace, it is nevertheless true that they did have an indefinable "thing" that went beyond what he seems to have with a lot of other companions, just not romantic. You hate to go around saying stuff about the "daughter he never had" and all that (because for one thing, he may well have had daughters at one point), but...well...

I prefer to look it as somewhere between Mentor/pupil Uncle/fave niece and Partners In Crime.

But, yes, Ace is definitely Speshul. ;-)

Well, I was talking about me. And it kind of does, although not the straight 'they land in ex-Era' type. And what do you mean, 'on the back burner'? Clocket, you must be getting near the end - and you have to make things all right... *whimpers*

And... no challenges for me? I suppose that's greedy, but I'm intrigued as to what you would suggest!

It's on the back burner until my exams are outta the way and I can have a proper kip. Challenges:

1. Seven/Brig doing things with the question mark umbrella

2. Jack has crabs. They're called the Macra. (with Gridlock, this should be easy LOL)

3. A heartwarming fic in which Ten and Jackie make a baby

It is official, you are the evillest person on my flist. I managed to avoid writing anything I actually wouldn't write for anyone else, but your prompts were so dreaful that I was forced into writing something I would never write, after all. (Just, for heavens' sake, don't tell JJ...)

Oh no, I'm onto your little secret! LOOOOMMMSSSS!!!!!

I really like the Ten voice in this, actually. More than many of the other Doctors, he does seem to have distinct personae that he uses in different circumstances, and this is that brisk, comically appalled at his companions, sort of Ten (you know what I mean!) to the life...
