Continued Nocturnal Adventures

It's been a while since I wrote about my dreams.  Mostly that's because my dreams have either 1.  been too scattered to write about or 2. squashed by the Nyquil I was on.  Now that I am off the sauce, I can dream again!  Hallelujah!  So here is the latest in my collection of strange dreams:

There I was, visiting lovely friends in Corvallis.  One of them was putting on some musical festival, to which all of these teenagers would be going.  She was very frazzled, particularly when one of the acts cancelled suddenly.  She turned to me and said, "Loradona, you have to do this!" and I found myself performing for a large crowd.

Anyone who knows me understands that this is far from my wish in real life, but in my dream, I totally rocked it.  I felt like a rock star.  It was the most fun I've had in a dream for a while (mostly because of the aforementioned Nyquil).  Anyway, people thought I was awesome, and I even got asked for an autograph.  In my dream, I signed it "Ms. May," which is odd, but it didn't seem odd in my dream.

Anyway, the next day, it turned out, they needed me to perform again, but since I am not a professional performer, it's not like I had a lot of songs in my repertiore to turn to, so I began wracking my brain to figure out what I could do onstage.  I finally hit upon storytelling.  And so I sang and told stories like a pro until my alarm went off this morning.

I don't know what it means, except one thing:  Yeah, I'm awesome.
