For EL118, I just read "The Solace of Open Spaces," a writer's reflection on living in Wyoming, a place she moved to after her husband died of cancer in New York City. woops.  been a while.  my emotional hangover from the election is turning into numbness- i indulged in some champage and cigarettes and other mild substances to let my rage subside.  we drank too much champage much too early and watched coverage until two, very quiet towards the end.  actually.  i really don't want to talk about that right now.
